David Cotton from Bedworth got back £1,400 from St James’s Place
Reclaimed figure is before the deduction of our fees
David became a client of SJP in early 2020 when he invested into an ISA and a Retirement Account. The following January David completed his first annual review with his SJP adviser. However, David did not receive contact from his adviser until his next review in January 2023.
David saw our online advertisement and contacted us asking if we could assist with the charges he had paid SJP. We reviewed the service David had received and it was clear that he had not had a full review in 2022. This meant David was paying for a service he did not receive.
We sent our claim to SJP explaining why David should have the charge he paid in 2022 refunded to him. After investigating the case SJP agreed with our findings and paid David £1,400 to cover the shortfall in the agreed service in 2022.
