Kelsey Greenberg from Banbury got back £762 from St James’s Place
Reclaimed figure is before the deduction of our fees
Mrs Greenberg first met with a St James’s Place adviser in 2019 to discuss her retirement planning arrangements. She was advised to invest monthly contributions into a Retirement Account and she continues to make those payments today.
Mrs Greenberg saw our ad on the internet and contacted us asking if we could assist her regarding the service and advice given by St James’s Place. We reviewed the advice she had been given and we believed she had been advised to take too much risk for someone who had not invested previously.
We sent our claim to St James’s Place explaining why Mrs Greenberg should receive a refund. After investigating the case St James’s Place agreed with our findings and completed a comparison to evaluate if she had lost out by investing in the areas she was recommended. St James’s Place calculated she would have been better off by £762 and refunded this to her.
