Mark Degiorgio from Gillingham got back £402 from St James’s Place
Reclaimed figure is before the deduction of our fees
Mark became a client of SJP in 2014 when he invested into an ISA. From this time Mark’s adviser provided support and reviews on a regular basis and he was satisfied with the service that he was receiving.
Mark saw our ad on the internet and contacted us asking if we could assist him regarding the charges he had paid for the ongoing advice from SJP. We reviewed the service Mark received and, despite the fact he had many discussions and reviews with his adviser, it was clear that he had not had a full review every year. This meant he was paying for a service he was not receiving.
We sent our claim to SJP explaining why Mark should receive a refund. After investigating the case SJP agreed with our findings and paid him £402. This was to refund the charges Mark had paid in 2019 when he did not have a review with his adviser.
