Maxine Ross from Newport got back £253 from St James’s Place
Reclaimed figure is before the deduction of our fees
Maxine became a client of SJP in 2016 when she invested into an ISA. The following year Maxine completed a review of her personal and financial circumstances with her adviser who was pleased to inform her that her investment remained suitable. However, for the following years Maxine did not have any contact from her adviser.
Maxine saw our ad on Facebook and contacted us asking if we could assist with the charges she had continued to pay for ongoing advice from SJP. We reviewed the service Maxine had received and it was clear that she had not had a full review every year. This meant Maxine was paying for a service she was not receiving.
We sent our claim to SJP explaining why Maxine should receive a refund. After investigating the case SJP agreed with our findings and paid him £253. This was to refund the charges Maxine had paid in 2018 and 2019 when she did not have a review with her adviser.
